  • How does it work?

    Our goal here at Passive Prospecting is to take your unfinished video clips and create an engaging, beautiful, OPTIMIZED videos on YouTube. Along with combining your clips and removing major mistakes and pauses in your video, we add music, overlays, graphics, emojis, transitions, etc.


    We also upload, optimize, and schedule your videos for you, after you approve your completed videos.


    Basically, we take the bulk of the work out of the video production process for you. You just need to create the content… we’ll make it into a MASTERPIECE and optimize it for MAXIMUM REACH for you!


  • What parts of the video production process does your team NOT do?

    We pretty much do it all here! The only things we don’t cover are generating captions on YouTube, pinning your contact info after your video publishes, and engaging with your audience after your video publishes. Any type of aftercare, including cross-posting to other social platforms, is also not a part of our service.

  • What do you use for your workflow system?

    We use a custom-developed app called Coordinate. It is similar to Trello, Asana, and Monday.com, but it has a TON of extra features that allow us to communicate directly with everyone involved in your video’s journey to completion. You will not be able to create a personal account to connect with us – we will create a custom board for you within 24 business hours of when you sign up for services.

  • Can I send you a bunch of clips for you to edit together?

    Absolutely! We’ll turn your chopped up clips into a magical full-length video. Most videos we edit have between 5 and 15 individual clips, if you are following our Passive Prospecting Process™.


    We do recommend not sending in more than 20 clips for your videos. This will slow down your editor significantly, and it may cause some confusion in the editing process, especially in your first 2-3 videos, when we are learning your style and flow.


  • How do I share files with your team?

    We use Google Drive for all of our file sharing. When you sign up, you will receive detailed instructions on how to share your files correctly. Essentially, you’ll want to create a main folder in Google Drive (NOT a full drive) for all of your videos (name this folder after yourself), and then each video would need a dedicated SUBFOLDER within that folder.


    We have a full walk-through video on this when you sign up, but once you’ve done it once, it’s pretty simple to do it a thousand times, for each video you create!


  • Do I have the same editor for every video?

    Yep! We may try out a few of our team members on your videos in the first 2-3 videos, to make sure we have the perfect fit for you, but once we’ve gone through that process, you’ll always have the same editor. Each account has a backup editor, in case a team member is out of the office for any reason. Backup editors have the same style/flow preferences, so if we ever need to use them during a team members’ absence, it shouldn’t cause any interruptions for you!


  • Who do I go to for my questions throughout the week?

    Along with a dedicated video editor, a dedicated graphic designer, and an SEO specialist, you also have a dedicated Account Manager. They are your go-to for questions about video flow and account questions. Our Account Managers review videos before they come to you to make sure we’ve added everything we can and fixed major mistakes before that video comes to you. They are there to help things go smoothly and to ensure your videos get published correctly and on time!


  • Do you provide neighborhood drive-by footage?

    We don’t have access to your individual neighborhoods, so this is one of the things we’ll need from you, if you’d like that in your video.


  • Do you provide drone footage?

    Some, yes! We do have use licensed video depositories for our video editing, but if you’re from a smaller community, we may not have drone footage for your area.


    We generally have cityscapes, traffic shots, some general residential flyovers, major landmarks, and nature shots for major areas. If you’re interested in adding something specific to your video, be sure to reach out to your manager or your editor ahead of time to see if we have access to a shot you’re looking for. We can always add drone footage you purchase OR drone footage you take yourself!


  • Do you provide background music for my videos?

    Absolutely! If you have a preference on style, please be sure to let your editor and manager know! We use fully commercially licensed music on all of our projects, and we have a large selection to choose from.


  • Do you create a “musical intro” for my videos?

    Yep! This is part of what we do in your first week in the program. This 4-6 second musical intro will go on each video we produce for you.


  • Do you design my thumbnails?

    Yep! We’ll give you a few choices on styles when you come into the program, and we’ll customize your thumbnails to match any existing branding colors/elements you already have.


  • Do you design my cover art for my YouTube channel?

    Yep! This is also something we design in the first week of your service with us. We’ll go back and forth with you to make sure you follow best practices AND end up with a design you love.


  • Do you set up and optimize my YouTube channel?

    We don’t create the channel for you, but we do design and optimize your channel for you! That includes adding cover art, update your profile image, do keyword research and create an optimized channel description, add keyword metadata, add channel keywords, and create channel upload defaults for you. This is done within the first week of your service.


  • What happens if I don’t use all of my videos each month? Do I get them credited/banked for later?

    This is a use-it-or-lose-it service, so if we don’t receive videos on a weekly basis (based on which weekly/monthly package you choose), those videos are missed. We do this in an effort to keep you consistent and accountable – that’s the key to growing your audience quickly on YouTube!


    We do not bank or credit you for videos that you don’t use throughout the month, so make sure you have a plan for getting videos to our team with time to spare to make sure you’re never behind!


  • Is there any type of coaching involved with this service?

    We have one weekly group session that you can join if you have specific questions throughout the week! This is an appointment-only call, but this is the place to join if you want tips for improving your videos! Other than that call, we don’t offer coaching throughout the week. However, if you’re a member of our Passive Prospecting course, you DO have access to our weekly group coaching sessions! There are several different sessions throughout the week in that program.   • Do you have suggestions for videos I should create?

    Absolutely! We do have a specific formula for how to see success quickly on YouTube, so we suggest starting with these ideas. These are spelled out more in our course, but here is the list!


  • Do you have a course I can check out?

  • Do you have a book that explains your process?

    Yes! You can find “Passive Prospecting” by Levi Lascsak and Travis Plumb on Amazon. We definitely recommend checking it out, even if you’ve already taken our course!


  • What happens after I get started? Will there be instructions for me to follow to get started?

    Absolutely. You’ll received detailed “Getting Started” instructions via email immediately after you sign up, and you’ll receive a link to your Coordinate board within 24 business hours of purchasing your package.


  • Do I get to talk to someone after I sign up to answer my questions about how this all works?

    Yep! After you’ve completed your onboarding items, you’ll be able to schedule a kickoff call with the Passive Prospecting Support Team. We’ll walk you through how to use your board, interact with our team, and answer any other questions you may have about getting your videos to our team and onto YouTube.


  • How long does it take to edit videos?

    Your first video takes about a week to produce. We don’t have any onboarding fees, so this first week is built into your first month, and it is in place to create your musical intro, assign your editor, optimize your channel, and create your channel graphics.


    After your first video is done, it’s generally 48-72 business hours between videos. So if you submit 3 videos on a Monday, your first video from that batch would most likely be done on Wednesday. The next one would most likely be done on Friday, and then next one would most likely be done by the following Monday. Make sure you submit your videos in time for us to edit and publish by your scheduled day/time!


  • What are your hours of operation?

    We operate Monday-Friday from 9:00 AM EST – 6:00 PM EST.


  • When do I need to send in my video clips in order to get them published in time?

    Our team needs a minimum of 48 business hours in order to edit and publish your video on time. If we don’t receive files on time, your video will be missed, and your next video release would be on your next publishing day. We do not credit or bank videos that are missed in this scenario.


  • When are my videos published on YouTube?

    We usually choose a schedule and start at 9 PM EST on your given days for the first 30-60 days. We’ll watch your stats during that period, and, if we see that a time/day is better for you to publish, we will adjust and make that your new schedule. We’re all about following the stats here at Passive Prospecting!


  • When does my subscription officially start?

    The day you sign up will be the same day your subscription renews each month. We recommend having 2-3 weeks of videos completed and ready to send to us before signing up for our service to avoid losing any time during your month. We do not bank, refund, or push out billing if you fail to send us videos to edit on a weekly basis.


  • How often are videos produced for me? Will I receive videos in bulk, or one by one?

    We produce based on the package price you purchase. If you purchase one video per week, we will produce one video per week, even if you send us 12 videos to edit at once. That being said, you will need to send us AT LEAST the number of videos you sign up for each week in order to get all of your videos editing within the month.


    For example, if you sign up for 3 videos per week on May 1st, but you don’t send us any videos until May 15th, you will only be able to receive up to 6 videos before you renew on June 1st. We do not bank or credit videos for future use if we do not receive videos to edit in time to publish, so you will lose those first 2 weeks of video production, and billing will not be pushed out to compensate for the 2 weeks that were lost.


    Again, we recommend having 2-3 weeks-worth of content created before signing up for our service so that there is not lag in time between getting your videos to the team for editing.



  • Is there a contract with your service?

    No contract! We operate month-to-month here, so if you ever feel like you need to pause, we just need to know before your renewal day. This is a subscription service, so there are no refunds if you decide to cancel after your account renews for the month (just like Netflix or Hulu – same concept!)


    Unfortunately, we also will not be able to save your unused videos for a future month, even if you only pause your account.


  • I'm a member of your DWY (Done-With-You) program. Do My Video Editing Services Ever Expire?

    If you are a member of our Done-With-You course, you have up to 120 days from your purchase date to use your complimentary video editing services. After those 120 days, your video editing will expire, and you will need to purchase a monthly package to continue.

  • What if I want to cancel?

    We’ll be sad to see you go, but you can do that any time! In order to avoid an additional charge, you will need to email Support@PassiveProspecting.com and inform us about your desire to cancel at least 24 business hours before your renewal date. We will not be able to stop the charge from going through otherwise, and again, there are no refunds if you do not cancel with appropriate notice.


    Reminder that 24 business hours means during operating business hours/days. If you decide to cancel and your renewal day lands on a Sunday, and if you don’t send us a cancellation email until Saturday, we will not be able to cancel your account for that month.

  • What is your refund policy?

    Once video production has begun on your account, we do not offer refunds for your monthly service. We also do not offer refunds for unused videos, unless our team fails to deliver your videos for you.


    Of course, if for any reason our team is the cause for videos not being produced on time, we will work to either push out your billing or credit your videos to your account. We’ll work with you if this ever happens!
